Jessica & Alex met sophomore year of high school. Jessica helped Alex get her first job at a local popcorn shop. We became closer after spending hours popping popcorn, filling tins, and doing all things popcorn together (like eating it, A LOT!). After high school we went separate directions for college and only saw each other a couple times a year. More recently, we’ve rekindled our friendship, and realized how much we enjoy getting coffee and catching up. On one of our coffee dates, we decided that we should start a blog together because we had so many of the same interests, and the same goal of keeping a blog. So now we introduce A&J Lifestyle blog. J

I am a grad student pursuing my degree in Elementary Education, and will graduate this December (2014). I’ve been working as a nanny for two amazing little girls while I’ve been in school. I love cooking & eating, hanging out with family & friends, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being creative. I’ve been with my boyfriend for over 4 years, and I look forward to an exciting future with him J

I graduated from the University of Denver with a Masters in Social Work. I went to Metro State University for my undergrad and ran cross country & track. There I met some of my best friends! I am married to my best friend and enjoy running, working out, spending time with family/friends, vacation, chocolate and all things sparkly! ;) Most importantly I love the Lord and He is the reason I am who I am.
